Ferner Sterling Handarbeit Coffee Tea Set

Weighing over 79 troy ounces of Solid Sterling Silver, this set very BEAUTIFUL! The Coffee Pot measures 9-1/2 inches high and is impeccably and meticulously made. Made by and signed "FERNER" each piece is also stamped "HANDARBEIT STERLING". There is not much information out there about this maker but this probably dates to the 1950's and was crafted in Germany. All of the pieces are four footed. The Coffee Pot, Tea Pot, and lidded Sugar bowl have a dimensional rose finial which is surrounded by dimensional leaves. The tray is silver plated. Raised and incised florals in fine detail and coloration. This tray measures 20"L x 15"W x 1"H and is signed on the base. The side handle remnants are visible on the underside. Teapot - 912 gr.
